Note: Course held at HCC Columbus-5610 E. Columbus Dr., Tampa, FL. Class Schedule: Wednesday 6:00PM-10:00PM Classroom only. Saturday & Sunday 7:00AM Driving Range The BRC is designed for beginning motorcycle riders and those who have not completed the necessary requirements to receive the Motorcycle endorsement for their Florida Driver's License. Approximately five hours of classroom instruction and ten hours of riding exercises provide a complete introduction to motorcycling. The course is conducted over three sessions. Motorcycles are provided for your use during the course. Prerequisite: Students must be able to ride a bicycle. During riding skills portion of the course, students will be required to bring and wear the following mandatory protective gear: Three-quarter or full-face helmet with protective eyewear, full-fingered gloves, a long long sleeves shirt or jacket, long pants (jeans are recommended), and sturdy boot or shoes covering the ankles. A short raincoat, rain suit, or poncho is highly recommended. Students not wearning the prescribed mandatory protective gear will not be permitted to participated in the riding skills portion of the course. Students not wearing appropriate protective gear, will not be allowed to participate in the riding portion of the course.
